Our choice of Coffee bean is an Asian ‘Old Brown Java’ supplied by ‘The Bean Shop’ in Perth.

It’s low acidity, full bodied taste and sweetness, is attained through
a weathering process which takes two years to become ‘Old Brown Java’.
We offer a 12oz cup, 100% fully compostable and bio-degradable, with a double espresso as standard.
We also stock a variety of Loose Leaf Teas, supplied by ‘The Wee Tea Company’ in Dunfermline.

Espresso and hot water. Long, strong and black.
Breakfast Tea, Earl Grey Tea, Ginger Chai Tea; The loose leaf teas most familiar to us tea drinkers in Britain, often referred to as ‘normal tea’. Black teas generally hold fuller, deeper flavours, and can handle the addition of milk or sugar.
Espresso, steamed and foamed milk, with a dusting of chocolate. Traditionally made with one-third espresso, one-third steamed milk, and one-third foam.
Dark Hot Chocolate
Rich and sophisticated with the perfect bitter balance. Our Dark Hot Chocolate is made with 33% West African cocoa. You could describe its style as European – expect an intense chocolate taste. Just cocoa and sugar, nothing else. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Registered for vegetarians and vegans by The Vegan Society.
Double Hot Chocolate
Our Double Hot Chocolate has a high 35% West African cocoa content with an added extra 10% flaked milk chocolate for good measure. The result? A double-strength chocolate experience. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Approved by the Vegetarian Society.
Small, black, intense in flavour. Not only a beverage in it’s own right, but the basis of all beverages on the Barista menu.
Espresso, steamed milk, and just a thin layer of foam.
Fruit Infusion/Herbal Tea
Not strictly speaking Tea. Caffeine free. The healthy option.
Infusions made with dried herbs have been famous for their health inducing properties; Peppermint Tea for digestion. The Fruit Infusions we stock such as Mixed Berry Infusion, Rhubarb Infusion, and Mango & Passion Fruit Tisane, will change from time to time.
Gunpowder Chinese Green Tea; Lower in caffeine content and higher in anti-oxidant levels, a healthy alternative. A fairly full flavoured Green Tea, with hints of smoke and pepper. Described as Gunpowder, due to the ‘ball’ like shapes the tea leaves are rolled into.
Espresso, steamed and foamed milk. Less foam than a Cappuccino but more than a Flat White. More correctly known as a Caffe Latte.
An Espresso with just a small amount of steamed milk and/or foam; to your preference. Macchiatto means ‘stained’ or ‘marked’ in Italian, and refers to the small mark made by the milk or foam in the Espresso.
Espresso, chocolate syrup, topped with steamed and foamed milk, and a dusting of chocolate.
White Hot Chocolate
Our White Hot Chocolate is made with a blend of cocoa butter and milk powders – not cocoa solids, which make chocolate brown, so there’s no bitterness. Mellow, milky and comforting. Perfect on it’s own or with a shot of syrup. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Approved by The Vegetarian Society.
Our ‘Sweetbird’ Syrups are a bit special as they are the only ones to be registered for vegetarians and vegans by The Vegan Society. They also have no GMOs or artificial colourings.
Syrups can be used to create classics like a Vanilla Latte or Caramel Cappuccino, or why not spice up your Latte or Americano with the warm satisfying mix of spices of a Chai; cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger blended with tea.
